We are pleased to announce the launching of a new journal, Innate Immunity will publish papers on a broad range of subjects, including components of the innate immune system (e.g., complement, toll, toll-like receptors, phagocytosis, and natural killer cells) and other components and processes (e.g., micro-RNA, proteases, accommodation, mutagenesis and repair) that defend the host against infection or inadvertent injury. We shall publish original articles and reviews on these subjects as they function in people, animals and plants. While we expect to publish papers of high caliber on one or another aspect of innate immunity and in one or another system, we are especially keen to publish papers that broadly integrate the manifestations and mechanisms of innate resistance and repair immunity. Type of Papers:Research Papers Reviews Extra Views Innate Immunity is a quarterly publication. Papers will cover the topics including (but not limited to) the following: Inflammatory cells, endothelium/endothelial cells, T cells and B cells, coagulation, toll, toll like receptors, cellular signaling, mutation and recombination, DNA repair, host defense, resistance to injury, adaptive immunity, tumor immunity and resistance, ischemia and ischemia-reperfusion, immunity in non-human primates, mammsls, vertebrates, invertebrates, insects and plants. |
